I started writing this song sat in front of the Christmas Tree at Christmas, and so I think of it a bit like my Christmas song, but really it's much broader than that. It's hard to summarise but it's all about trying to accept that life is ups and downs and that is what makes us who we are, no matter how much I wish life could be like a movie, and the hard parts would just go by in a montage.

I thought it would be fun to try producing a looped version live on my twitch stream, and this is what I came up with. I'd love to record and produce this song properly next year, but for now, this live demo version was recorded using my Ableton Push looper and is a taster of the possibilities for this song in the future.
